About the position
You will be a key part of one of our two Applications Development teams. The teams specialize in programming and digital image processing, used in our software to automatically detect and classify cells and other objects in blood and body fluids. In the teams, we use an agile approach where the team jointly takes responsibility for all new functionality - from algorithm development, implementation, code reviewing, testing, and documentation. Thus, this is a broad role that will allow you to benefit from all your technical expertise.
Work tasks
- Software development in C++ and C#/.NET.
- Develop and implement algorithms for image processing and machine learning.
- Participate in the collection of image data sets.
- Develop a graphical user interface (GUI).
- Work with relational (SQL) databases.
- Review your team members’ code.
- Test your team members’ implementations.
- Document your implementations in terms of requirements, acceptance criteria, test cases, and design descriptions.
- Optimize existing code.
- Last, but not least; Share your knowledge and experiences with us so that we can improve together.

Qualifications
- You have a university degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- You have experience in developing and maintaining Windows applications in C++ and/or C#
- You have experience of working in an agile environment
- You have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of working with GIT
- Swedish is meritorious
It’s meritorious if you have
- Experience in image analysis, machine learning, and/or automated testing
