Software Engineer Card Authorization/Base24

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Work with one of the most important systems at Swedbank, the Card Authorization system within Card Acquiring. The system handles approximately half of all card transactions in Sweden and in Baltics

- Take on the role as Senior Software Engineer and work with maintenance and development of our system Base24 Classic.

- Be part of the maintenance team that works to ensure availability of the system 24/7/365 and according to our SLAs. Implement SW maintenance updates as well as operating system updates, ensuring regulatory and customer needs are fulfilled.

- Also be part of the development team to work with enhancements of our Card Authorization system, to ensure compliance of new demands of regulatory requirements as well as customer specific needs.

- Be part of our small, tight and dedicated Card Authorization team, that has a long experience of Base24 Classic

- Collaborate broadly over the bank with other departments related to Card Acquiring and Card Issuing

What is needed in this role:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or corresponding work experience

- Understanding in Card Payment technology

- You are a Senior Maintenance and Development Engineer with long experience of Base24 Classic

- Possibility to take on On call responsibility, according to an agreed schedule

- Be able to take the dialog with customer during potential incidents

- A team player that contributes to a good working environment

- You are self-driven, take responsibility as well as drive improvement initiatives in our team as well as with neighbouring teams

- You are proactive in solution thinking, with the customer in focus

- Fluent in spoken and written English
