Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Cloud Based) to join our dynamic team.
What you will do:
Define, develop, build, test, and deploy secure cloud-based data platform solutions for data products within an ever-evolving agile environment.
Collaborate with a product team to collect, process, and publish car data using server applications written in Python/Go, utilizing REST APIs, S3 interface, and gRPC protocol.
Conduct various ETL tasks with big data frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Arrow, and Spark Streaming to efficiently handle data from millions of cars.
Host solutions cloud-natively with Kubernetes, while actively interacting with AWS and Azure.
Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the development of the right functionality, estimating work size and complexity for sprint planning.
Determine and maintain the technical design within given architectural guidelines.

Required qualifications:
Master’s degree in engineering with 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in Python, Go, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Databricks, Terraform, PostgreSQL, Grafana, Github, GitLab, and React.
Passion for high-quality code development.
Hands-on experience with Python/Go for API development, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Kubernetes development/management, including automation and CI/CD with GitHub/GitLab actions.
Some experience in system engineering and software testing.
Familiarity with Agile methods and DevOps.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Meritorious:
Experience in big data environments, especially with Apache Spark, Apache Arrow, or similar technologies.
Knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud environments.
Experience in end-to-end testing/test automation within the Cloud.
Experience in the automotive industry.
