Inter IKEA Group have started the digital transformation. This is a journey which require that a new technology foundation is established for Core Business Range, Supply and Franchise. Now we start the work to set up the technical services needed to support an IT landscape that will be developed and operated both on prem and in the cloud. The shared technical services we deliver will enable the IT landscape to transform to support deliveries of new business capabilities for IKEA.
We at Data Distribution & Integration team are responsible for all data exchange both inside the IKEA franchisor IT landscape and to franchisees IT landscapes, enabling a structured exchange of data across the whole IKEA value chain.

As Software Engineer for integrations inside and across different IT landscapes including several of the below points depending on the work area, your main responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the development of high-quality code from HLD, create LLD, test and deployments
Develop data integrations using Kafka, Microservices/API, cloud knowledge, Java, Java spring Boot, CI/CD development, Oracle SQL or similar
good to have ODI, SOA and MFT experience, but not mandatory
working in agile, DevOps teams across the capability areas, contributing to the development and maintenance of integrations and solutions
applying and adhere to defined Integration development practices (e.g., CI/CD, automated tests, pair programming, code reviews)
providing support and guidance as needed to other developers within the development team encouraging good practices
working closely with solution architects together with other software engineers and cross functions to produce all required design specifications and ensure that data integrations work together and fulfil business needs
Coach and mentor software trainees and junior development team members
