Job Description


As a Software Engineer at H&M Group you will work in the BT External Corporate Communication product team. The Product Team is responsible for the H&M Group corporate web site which includes information for the financial and investor area, information about H&M Group sustainability incl. transparency data, the yearly sustainability report, and corporate information, images and press releases for the H&M Group. The team drives the design, development, tech roadmap and maintenance of the site together with the H&M Group Communications function and other stakeholders. Mobile first is of course the foundation.

Responsibilities


You will be a part of a small, cross functional agile product team of amazing professionals. You will have the chance to take a lot of responsibility in how we shape HMGroup.com. In this broad role you could work with everything from front-end development and design to architecture, setup in azure, analytics, search optimization or other things that you are passionate about. Team collaboration is key, and all members contribute with their expertise.


Some of your daily work includes:
Work with UI/UX/web design for the HMGroup.com web site; create designs for new/updated pages and sections, components etc.
Front-end development of the HMGroup.com site; new/updated pages and components
Verify/Test development done by other developers
Daily scrum meetings with the team
Update and write documentation
Troubleshooting





Qualifications


As a Software Engineer at H&M Group we believe you have a passion for both web design and programming with focus on frontend and design but also competence in backend. You strive to write code that has high quality and that will be time efficient to maintain. You have a good sense of troubleshooting in an independent way as well as:
Experience working with UI/UX/web design
Experienced using a design system and related tools such as Storybook
Experienced of running usability studies
Experienced in visual design, e.g. grid system, component system
Experience of Wordpress, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React/Angular
Experience in backend, for example setting up and maintaining web sites with Azure
Experience in working with web security and Scrum way of working
