SOFTWARE ENGINEER - Gothenburg

We are looking for reinforcement of a software engineer where you’ll be working in a Team developing and maintaining SW components, written in high-level object-oriented C++, which will interact with audio amplifier system in the car. In the Team you will create unit-tests and integration tests for the code that you develop, to ensure code quality.
What you'll do:
· Contribute with your programming skills and your verification competence and take full responsibility for the development and launch of the functions.
· Plan, design, implement and report on verification activities to support feature application integration and deployment with fast feedback.
· Work with multiple interfacing teams that are engaged in development and verification of our functions.
· Test case development, data collection and analysis, SW-testing, integration & BaseTech testing, System Safety testing, Certification activities, test documentation as well as fault tracing and tuning.
· Develop and run test in our virtual test environment, as well as real environment.
· Strive to improve our quality and speed by contributing to test automation and increase our continuous integration capabilities.
· Developing a proprietary program with focus on programming skills in C++ and script programming along with application of well-developed analytical ability.
· Developer will be required to interact with IT operations for development purposes.
Who you are:
· Possess knowledge and experience of Object-oriented C++, CMake build system, GoogleTest (C++ Google Testing and Mocking Framework), Unix/Linux OS and the Unix command line, SW design/architecture and Git.
· Earned a B.Sc. degree, or as meritorious a M.Sc. degree, within Electrical, Computer science or equivalent area of education.
· Good knowledge in English language both spoken and in writing, as well as a driver’s license (B).
· Meritorious to possess knowledge and experience of Docker, Static analysis tool for C++ code, Python, GDB (GNU Project Debugger), CI/CD, Ansible, Digital Signal Processing automated test cases for Audio specific testing and Automotive Ethernet.
