Software Engineer, Group Digital

We are looking for Software Engineers to join some of our teams in Customer Domain at Group Digital at Ingka.
In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver high-quality software and engineering in order to support consumers across Ingka to be more efficient and reach the many people.
You will use and promote modern software engineering principles, encouraging utilisation of proper tools and increase automation to enable the specified business outcomes and create a strong digital foundation for IKEA's digital products and business.
WHO YOU ARE
Your background is a few years of DevOps/full-stack experience.
We would like you to have:
• Formal qualifications in computer science or any engineering equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a software engineering
• Experience working in agile/iterative software development teams with a DevOps working set-up and with an emphasis on self-organization and delivery to agreed commitments
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Develop, run, and maintain high-quality code of the assigned Product or Service using the right toolsets required
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture in accordance with good practices and agreed standards
• Work in agile teams across areas, contributing to the development and maintenance of Products and Services
• Apply and promote good software engineering practices, including continuous integration and delivery, within an agile/iterative development approach in order to improve time to market and fulfill business needs
• Drive change activities in different environments in order to secure functionality and availability
• Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies in order to boost innovation and productivity for optimisation/modifications to the current design and development productivity
• Provide support and guidance as needed to consumers and other engineers encouraging good practices
• Develop different engineering patterns for different types of Products and Services by working across initiatives within Ingka Group
