Software Engineer - Imaging

JOB DESCRIPTION As Software Engineer working with imaging you will be part of the Core Technologies team, responsible for Axis long-term technology agenda within the strategic areas Vision, Imaging and System.The team perform technology roadmapping; execute the roadmap by developing technologies and assist toward platform integration of technologies.They also act as a competence centre within Axis with regard to the core competence areas.In addition to this they define test methods and standards to be used by Axis as a whole.Working as Software Engineer within imaging your main activities will be: Integration of image sensors in new technology platforms Verification of image sensor performance in new platforms Adjustments of camera behaviour in existing platforms Embedded systems programming Embedded software design & verification Software maintenance JOB QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for an individual with a strong personal drive and ability to work without detailed supervision.You have a technical Master's degree or equivalent and good skills in C-programming.Knowledge of embedded Linux programming, CCD/CMOS sensor technologies and FPGA development is desirable.We highly value an active interest in images and imaging technologies and believe you are active with your own camera, working with images on your free time.
