YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Axis Core Technologies Team is looking for a patient, persistent and innovative team player with the following qualifications: Master's degree in computer science or equivalent Some years of relevant work experience Experience from embedded systems programming C-programming skills Algorithm development skills within image processing, e.g.filtering, colour reconstruction, scaling, binning Good Swedish and English skills Knowledge and experience from CCD/CMOS sensor technologies, FPGA programming and sensor-optic matching technologies are all merits and will be valuable in your work.THE CORE TECHNOLOGIES TEAM We are responsible for the long-term technology agenda within the strategic areas Vision, Imaging and System.We perform technology roadmapping; execute the roadmap by developing technologies and assist toward platform integration of technologies.We also act as a competence centre within Axis with regard to the core competence areas.In addition to this we define test methods and standards to be used by Axis as a whole. JOB DESCRIPTION As software engineer in imaging at the world market leader in IP cameras you will be in a unique position to influence the role of image quality and processing for surveillance system applications worldwide.You will be involved in Axis strategic technology planning process and contribute to core technologies used in future Axis offerings.Your work will involve: Image processing algorithm development Embedded systems programming Lab tests and verifications Software design Software maintenance You will mostly work as part of small project teams with the common goal to develop new technologies to be part of Axis platforms for the future.To some extent you will also work on your own in smaller or more self-contained tasks.
