The work of this position is to develop an AI-based control software system for wastewater treatment and purification. Current available control systems for such purposes are not quite optimised in having the key target outcome parameters maintained at optimum ranges. We will apply the recent academical knowledge in optimising the control system with AI model, which will reduce energy and resource costs while achieving near optimal performance.
The candidate need to have good theoretical knowledge and experience in waste water treatment, a master degree or even a PhD degree in relevant area is preferred. The candidate should also have good skills in software programming and good knowledge and experiences in AI. The target markets include EU and China, the candidate may need to travel to Asia and EU countries to help customers to install, test, validate and optimise the developed control system. Therefore, good language skills in Mandarin and English is important for this position. Frequent international traveling for the work may be necessary.
