Software Engineer Level 2 - Gothenborg/remote

What you'll be doing: You'll be working within our DevOps team, collaborating closely with your team and the Product Owner. Volvo Cars is implementing Agile using SAFe as our Agile framework. Within the architectural standards provided, you will decide and manage the technological design in our region. You will define, construct, test, and deploy relevant product maturity levels' functionality, as well as support and/or build the automation required to build the continuous delivery machine.
Furthermore, we will provide you with the chance to work in an ever-changing agile environment where you will be part of empowered product teams that aim for continuous learning and development while building and operating the product that the customer requires. You will have competent colleagues in the same job with whom you can share and discuss experiences and challenges related to the latest technology that we use on a daily basis.


You will be developing and testing a lot in the automobile, thus a Swedish driver's licence and a love of driving are required.


You and your abilities:
We think you have some embedded development experience, preferably from the automotive or telecommunications industries.
You most likely have a BSc degree or higher in Computer Engineering or an equivalent.


Has a thorough grasp of all parts of the software development lifecycle, as well as the implementation of new solutions to simplify the overall business process.


You are a happy and motivated team player who enjoys working with your teammates and other teams to discover the best solutions for our clients.


We utilise the following platforms and have the following technical skills:
You have prior experience with:
C/C++ is used for development.
Simulink / EC or a comparable programme was used.
SAFe, Scrum, Agile, Lean, and Kanban knowledge and experience
Additional Qualifications Preferred:
Experience with related items is advantageous: Jira, Jenkins, and Protobuf
Extensive knowledge of test-driven development and test automation
Coding methods that are clean.
