Software Engineer - Product Services Team

JOB DESCRIPTION Axis is an IT company offering network video solutions for professional installations.This means development of new products but also maintains of the overall quality of Axis existing products in order to analyze, implement and deliver modifications requested by the market. We are now looking for a driven and creative Software Engineer to work for a development team supporting our sales and customer service organization.The work includes: Troubleshooting of different issues reported by customers via our support organization Developing new functionality requested by the market Releasing firmware upgrades for different products Often you will be working in a team consisting of 3-5 people, but you will also handle issues on your own depending on the challenge at hand.The role is collaborative, meaning that you will have many interfaces inside and sometimes outside the organization in order to solve your tasks.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS We believe you have a genuine interest in programming and that you enjoy finding and creating solutions for different types of problems.You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar and good communications skills.You also have some experience from working with C-programming in an embedded environment and are used to work with Linux systems. We are looking for a curious individual with an analytical, creative, thorough and service minded attitude.As teamwork is crucial for Axis we believe it's important that you can contribute to a good team spirit promoting a creative and stimulating work environment.
