Software Engineer - PTZ Cameras & Video Encoders

JOB DESCRIPTION Axis' overall goal is to further strengthen and develop the companys position as the market-leading supplier of network video solutions.In order to do so we need enthusiastic and bright people and right now we are looking for a Software Engineer to work in our New Video Products team focusing on the development of new PTZ (pant, tilt, zoom) cameras and Video encoders.As software engineer you will play an important part in the development projects, developing software in an embedded environment for our new products.The department is responsible for the entire development from idea to mass production and as Software Engineer you will do analysis, design, implementation and unit test implementation.You will also work with advanced debugging of complete embedded systems.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS We believe you have a genuine interest in programming and a bachelor's or a master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar.You have experience from working with C-programming and are used to work with Linux systems.Preferably you also have a few years experience from embedded systems and are skilled in advanced debugging.We are looking for a curious individual with an analytical, creative, thorough and service minded attitude.As teamwork is crucial for Axis we also believe it's important that you can contribute to a good team spirit promoting a creative and stimulating work environment.
