Job Description


As a Software Engineer QA you are responsible for the QA process within the team and be involved in the entire software life cycle – design, development, test, release and maintenance and translate business needs into working software.
Regardless of area, tools or languages, a software engineer QA builds and configures solutions that are easy to maintain and change, enabling a constant delivery pace to be kept indefinitely. This is achieved through continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, with extensive use of automation. ​
The Software Engineer QA believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. We believe that you are a focused-on value creation, growth and serving customers with full ownership and accountability. Delivering exceptional customer and business results.
In this role you work in a highly collaborative team with a focus on Quality assurance. It is of value that you have a technical background with experience with leading test/QA.
Responsibilities:
continuously evaluate and improve our Quality assurance process
working with test data and environment strategy within the team
Have a structured and effective way to plan and follow up on QA.
Identify and share best practices as well as produce necessary documentation
Facilitate the handling of production defects



Qualifications
Mandatory requirements, both competence and tools
Have a quality assurance mindset and securing test cases and stories definition of done
Define and write test cases, translate business needs into requirements (user stories) and acceptance criteria.
Experience in Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand, execute, and solve questions related to dependencies.
Proficient when it comes to different technical and architectural viewing points.
Have an Agile mindset and Experience in Agile software development methodology (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Dev/Ops).
Continuous delivery with release and QA in production
Experience in Test Automation – Plan, support, maintain, and enhance the automation test suit.

5 - 10 years of experience in QA and test
Have good knowledge, both written and oral, in English


It’s also good if you have experience in:
Agile coaching or as Scrum Master
Understanding front-end and back-end development
E-commerce
Working with a SaaS solution
Solution/Software Architecture
API architecture and design
Ability to understand and analyze complex information and share it in effective and powerful communications.
Ability to understand people psychology and to connect to people to encourage new behaviors.
Ability to take responsibility, work proactively and continuously improve activities in complex, quickly transforming environments.
