Software Engineer - Quality Assurance

Do you have genuine interest in powertrain development and want to be a part of developing future powertrains for vehicles? We are looking for the smartest engineers interested in Hybrid/ Electromobility testing within the automotive industry. AVL MTC employs 250 people at our Techcenters in Göteborg, Haninge, Södertälje and Trollhättan. The team, based in Göteborg, is responsible for engine and vehicle level development for a diverse range of applications, including heavy duty vehicles, passenger cars, construction equipment, non-road & mobile machinery. As a software engineer you will be part of our multinational team working on challenging projects covering the various sectors.
The candidate will be working within a team of software developers and quality assurance engineers to improve software development processes by:   
* Studying internal and international standards requirements for Automotive software development processes and documentation.
* Analyzing and understanding the current software development from various teams. 
* Communicating the needs for process and documentation evolution.
* Planning and coordinating activities of documentation automation for the department.  
* Liaison and reporting to various functions within the organization.

* BSc / MSc degree in SW / Electrical / Electronic engineering.
* 3+ years of automotive experience within SW development for automotive components. 
* Experience from SW testing at different levels (SIL, HIL, Vehicle) for automotive. 
* Experience from Agile work environment.
* Knowledge about electric propulsion systems. 
* Quality oriented project experience. 
* Self-propelled team player, eager for continuous learning.
* Very good social and communication skills in English (Swedish is meritorious).  
* Knowledge in C/C++ and Python is meriting.
* Functional Safety knowledge (ISO26262 and /or ASPICE) is strongly meritorious.
* HiL systems knowledge in e.g., dSpace, ETAS is meriting
* Driver’s license B is meriting
* Willingness to travel is meriting
