Job Description


About the role
This is a unique opportunity to join one of our dynamically growing teams working on a growing product called the Store Stock Moves App within the Inventory optimization product area in the Customer Fulfilment domain.
We optimize product availability by moving store stock to the right place and right time considering both sustainability and our customers’ needs. Store staff find our scanner applications as automated as possible and where not possible, they are intuitive and fun to use. The team has a tight collaboration with multiple teams across several areas in Business Tech and is responsible for implementing a solution that helps users to determine availability and move stock.
Joining this team, the candidate will have an opportunity to contribute to the team's journey in delivering a Cloud Native solution and work side by side with our talented engineers in Inventory Optimization Area, delivering value for our customers.
We are looking for Software Engineer to be part of our cross-functional product team
• who can take a broad role where and be involved from start to finish in various product initiatives along with their extremely passionate team members and colleagues.
• who can translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable, and scalable solution design according to existing architecture guard rails.
• who can propose and create solutions with customer value in focus.
• who can use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative design options.
• who believes in taking individual responsibilities and works for a team where the team is accountable for the whole product.
• who believes in working agile with DevOps approach.


Qualifications


Skills required to succeed in this role:
• At least 5 years hands-on work experience in the whole software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Proficient in C# programming with experience in both, .NET and .NET Core, Entity Framework
• Proficient experience with SQL Server (Stored Procedures, Views, functions)
• Broad knowledge in Azure (Azure Functions, APP Service, Service Bus etc.) or other cloud platform AWS/GCP
• Knowledge of designing and building cloud native solutions.
• Hands-on experience with automation of tests (Unit tests, Integration tests)
• Knowledge of distributed version control, branching and release strategies.
• Experience of and interest in an agile way of working.
• Have worked with cloud-based delivery pipelines, continuous integrations and deployment.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and internal and external stakeholders to solve and reduce technical dependencies.
