Software Engineer - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Software Engineer who is experienced in agile development practices, in which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross functional teams.

What you'll do:
● Design, develop and operate production-grade data pipelines for data ingestion and processing, enabling downstream pipelines and analytics products, considering both technology and business requirements.
● Work with a group of skilled back-end engineers, currently engaged in agile product development focusing on supporting and managing the lifecycle of subscriptions for new and old customers.
● Apply and adhere to good practice Software Engineering practices (continuous integration, automated tests, code reviews) within an agile or iterative development approach including validation and verification testing.
● Contributing to the continuous development of standards against which Software Development should take place as well as exploring and bring in new technologies to boost innovation and development productivity.
● Ensure good understanding of each user story and the expected outcome, asking for further detail when required.
Who you are:
● Good knowledge in Java and feel comfortable working in a platform with a Docker/Kubernetes/Cloud setup.
● Have experience from start-ups and global tech companies such as Spotify, Google, Ericsson, Microsoft, Tradera, Klarna and King.
● Knowledge of design and architecture concepts and ability to apply knowledge within the development cycle.
● Experience in agile development practices, in which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross functional teams.
● Have excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and pedagogical skills and are fluent in spoken and written English.
