Software Engineer - Stockholm/remote

Tasks & Responsibilities/Skills Required


Requirements:


- Prior experience in both frontend and backend development is required; applicants with excellent backend expertise will be given preference.


- Thorough knowledge of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds


- Enthusiastic in architecting and coding scalable cloud apps


- Previous experience using metrics for monitoring and alerting


- The ability to develop clean, efficient JavaScript code.


- Solid understanding of testing foundations and recommended practises


- Outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities


You must be familiar with the following skillsets to be considered for this position: - JavaScript / TypeScript
- Node.js, Express.js, and Apache Kafka


- React, React Native, and Redux


- Infrastructure: Amazon Web Services, Terraform, and Docker


- Jest, Mocha, and Chai are being tested.




It's convenient to have.


- Previous experience with the event source pattern


- Extensive experience with AWS Lambda, SQS, and SNS.


- Previous experience with API design and the API-first design methodology
Duration: 6 months + extension
