We are currently looking for a Software Engineer Telematics to the automotive industry.

Job description:
Infotainment Connectivity In-car apps platform

In this role, you are responsible for developing new function for the in-car apps Qt platform. You are working end-to-end, meaning that you are part of all phases, i.e. writing requirements, implementation, test, bug fixing and final verfication. Besides the technical part, the other main part of the work is to co-operate and co-ordinate with other stakeholders such as product owner, suppliers, user interface designers, graphics designers and test & verification engineers.

Work tasks / responsibilities
- Compilation of requirements, use cases and similar to define the functionality.
- Together with suppliers, agree on how to implement in most efficient way.
- Planning of and follow-up with suppliers.
- Follow-up and re-planning of SW bugs.
- Co-ordinate and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assure the realization of the function end-to-end.
- Identify new functions by competitor vehicle analysis, benchmarking, etc.
- Take part in all phases of a software development project.
Requirements:

Who are you?
- System/function development experience from preferable from Automotive, Telecom industry or similar at least 5 years.
- You have experience in developing interactive applications and/or sites in Qt.
- You have experience or knowledge of all phases of a software development cycle.
- University education preferable Master in Electrical/IT engineering or similar relevant experience.
- Knowledge in project planning and collaboration tools used.
- Preferably, you have skills in agile software development.
- Advantage if working with Connectivity or Telematics function/services.
- You are creative, self-going and able to work with vague and shifting requirements.
- You are comfortable with working in an international environment where English is commonly used when talking to colleagues, giving presentations and writing documentation.
- You find it easy to document your work and express your ideas in writing in both Swedish and English.
