Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Telematics to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Contribute to the development of connectivity products and services for vehicles, focusing on Diagnostics, Software Download (SWDL), and Power Management for the Telematics and Connectivity Antenna Module (TCAM) component.
Engage in system design and verification processes, ensuring the enhancement of vehicle ownership experiences.
Create and implement test cases that run automatically in the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment to validate new software deliveries.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to analyze fault reports and drive continuous quality improvement.
What you bring:
Educational Background: Hold at least a BSc degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
Passion for System Design: Demonstrate a genuine passion for system design and verification of vehicle components.
Testing Proficiency: Familiarity with unit/component/domain/complete test methodologies and experience in CI/CD automated test creation.
Programming Skills: Proficient in Python and Robot Framework, essential for creating automated tests.
Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders.
Ownership Mentality: Take ownership of your work and demonstrate the ability to manage uncertainty and solve problems with no clear solutions or outcomes.
Competence/Tools Needed:
Vehicle diagnostics and SWDL (Software Download).
ECU/CAN/Ethernet/DLT log analysis.
Proficiency in Python and Robot Framework.
