About the position
You will be a key part in one of our two Development Applications teams, consisting of an almost even mix of males and females and with roots in five different nations. The team specializes in programming and digital image processing that is used in our software to automatically classify cells in blood and body fluids. This position offers a unique opportunity to participate in our entire development process; from algorithm development, implementation, code reviews and documentation, to the creation and execution of tests. Thus, this is a broad role that will allow you to benefit from all your technical expertise, including mathematics and problem-solving.
What we can offer you
Work tasks:
- Software development in C++ and C#/.NET. Develop applications in new areas as well as further development and maintenance of our existing applications.
- Development and implementation of algorithms.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Bug hunts and code optimizations.
- Image processing and machine learning.
- Requirements specification, to write design descriptions and various reports. Design of test cases and hands-on testing.
- Learn new things but also delve into some long-forgotten secrets of coding, such as MFC.

Who you are
You have a university degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or related field. You feel enthusiastic about developing and maintaining Windows applications in C++ and/or C#. If you also have a mathematical background, experience in automated testing in an agile environment and/or experience in working with images - you are basically our dream candidate!
