Job Description We have a need for an additional Software Engineer to assist in implementing the application development framework for our embedded platform. Your primary tasks will be: -You will be responsible for implementing our mobile phones based application development framework. The framework is utilized by our customer's to develop many of the mobile phones on the market today -In addition to implementing the framework, you will be assisting the framework designers in their work -You will be working with both existing technology as well as with proprietary technologies not yet made public We believe that besides being a skilled programmer and problem solver you have an interest in the design and verification of the software. You are not afraid of new challenges and like to view them with an open mind to find the best solution. We also believe that you take pride in your work, delivering accurate and maintainable solutions. We are searching the candidate with: -Degree in computer science or equivalent experience -At least 2 years experience of development using C -Good object oriented programming skills -Proficiency in English, both verbal and written -Beneficial Competences -Experience programming for Linux or OSE -Development experience with embedded systems or mobile phones -Experience with Agile development As a person you are well structured, stable and controlled in stressful situations. Of course you are a person who listens, communicates and solves conflicts in a constructive way. You are precise and well aware of targets and standards of quality and remains motivated and efficient in spite of setbacks and disappointments.
