Software engineer to Net Insights platform team

ABOUT THE POSITION
You will be joining an agile team with experienced developers being experts within video and networking systems.


As a software engineer in our platform team you will be working with adding functionality in our media switches, the Nimbra product series. As our product is created in-house, this position gives you a unique chance to work with software development close to both firmware and hardware engineers. Together with highly skilled colleagues you will be developing cutting edge-technology that enables live streaming of the biggest sports events in the world!

YOUR BACKGROUND - Solid experience in modern C++ (11, 14, 17) using the standard libraries

- Good knowledge of Linux and embedded systems

- At least basic knowledge of networking technologies

- Experience of working in an agile environment

- At least three years of working experience

- Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment. Preferably also good knowledge in Swedish.

It is beneficial if you have experience in any of the following:

- Parallel systems and concurrency

- Test Driven Development

- Docker containers

- Virtual machines on Linux and KVM

- Phyton

- Yocto / Open embedded
