Within the External Products program we are striving to enable new business models for H&M Group, connecting our digital platforms with selected retail Partners to improve our customer offering. Within the team Partner Connectivity via DC we focus on the wholesale process and the technical capabilities necessary to do business with our retail partners. To make it possible we collaborate with 3rd party solutions for data transactions and Partner integrations. As a Software Engineer in this team, we need you with a strong technical background and a desire to understand a complex landscape that needs to scale and expand.
Responsibilities
In your daily work, you will drive initiatives and investigations on a technical level to improve our Partner facing interfaces and systems. You will be required to understand the complex information flows and integrations involved in the wholesale business model. Together with the team, you will ensure that we are enhancing the systems and business processes in order to make H&M the preferred partner in wholesale! To succeed you also need to collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders and align goals and expected outcomes.
Furthermore, you will:
Take the technical responsibility for our Partner connectivity, meaning the solutions supporting data sharing with our Partners and H&M teams
Be an expert in our 3rd party solutions and processes, by developing a thorough and detailed understanding of the everyday business and related challenges
Take ownership of the integrations and enhance them and way of working across teams and systems
Documentation of solutions and integration patterns
Drive discussion on long term strategic technical vision for the wholesale business model
Who you are
We believe you are a quick learner and a person who doesn’t wait for directives. You are not afraid to take the lead and like the challenge of convincing surrounding teams to agree on enhancements. You are ambitious and structured and can handle many ongoing initiatives at the same time.
Furthermore, you:
Have a technical post-secondary education
Have strong architectural and integration skills
Have strong knowledge in creating and maintaining information models
Are pedagogical and can describe complex challenges and/or solutions in an understandable way
Have a background working with e-commerce, wholesale and/or EDI-providers
