Do you have automation skills and want to build H&M Groups´ future Edge platform? Join us and become our new Software Engineer!
We are now looking for a team member with automation skills, to join us in building our future platform to democratize infrastructure and self-service capabilities.You will be part of a team that is responsible for creating an “Edge platform” that will tie together the edge with the cloud and give easy access to efficient and sustainable platforms for all product teams. Where cloud is extended to support real time data processing at the edge, as well as being able to run local workloads and virtualized network appliances.

Responsibilities


As a Software Engineer you will be a part of a cross functional agile team of amazing professionals responsible for creating and designing solutions that fulfil our stakeholders needs. You work daily to develop, build and manage integrations between cloud and edge solutions for H&M Group globally. In this role you will work with the latest state-of-the-art technologies and services both on-prem and in cloud, actively seeking ways to embrace cloud services and automation. Furthermore, you will:
Build our future platform to democratize infrastructure and self-service capabilities
Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative design options which targets environment, performance security requirements and existing systems into account
Translate product strategy and requirement into suitable, maintainable and scalable solutions
Collaborate closely with product owner and other cross-functional teams always sharing best practice


Who are you?


We believe you are dynamic, collaborative, and curious! You have hands-on experience of DevOps, integration platforms and a “you build it you run it” mindset which enables you to design and build advanced automated ‘build, test, and release’ infrastructure. With previous experience from working in enterprise companies you know how to translate business requirements into scalable solutions. We also believe that you have:
Coding experience in TypeScript, Java, .NET or Python
Managed container platforms in a hybrid environment
Experience of cloud services (Azure, Google, AWS)
Experience working with agile practices (Scrum, SAFe, Agile WoW and CI/CD tools)


Leadership?


In this role there is also a possibility to join as a Competence Lead, which means that you have a dual focus; including both staff responsibility and contributing operationally within your product team.

Additional information


This is a fulltime position with placement in Stockholm, Sweden. We will review and interview on-going but due to summer holidays there might be some delays.
