SOFTWARE ENGINEER TO TEST ENABLEMENT TEAM, GROUP DIGITAL, INGKA GROUP

BACKGROUND
We are continuing our search for talented people and are also looking for Software Engineer that will contribute with their talent to our Test Data team in Test Enablement within IKEA. As you probably know IKEA is on a digital journey (I know everyone is on this blessed path) and this means that we need to be able to enable our teams on this righteous path of enlightenment J. As you are a skilled developer you probably know that there are always challenges when it comes to the area of having good data to level up your code. We are addressing this issue by creating our own toolset to take down this boss of epic proportions and gain some legendary status on the way.
YOUR DAILY TASKS
You will be a part of the team that develops tools and services for our product teams. You will contribute with a go-ahead spirit, where nothing is impossible, and a great sense of delivering high-quality code. You share our passion for Quality Assurance because you know that code needs to be tested so we can have a strong foundation to build upon. As all DevOps teams, we encourage cross-functional teams so there will be plenty of opportunities to level up other areas that you might find interesting within our area. Most of all, we should have fun at work together!
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS ETC
Everyone comes with a “baggage” and a past experience and why should you not be any different :) ?
In order for you to have the possibility to grow and have fun at work, there are some technical thresholds that need to be met. But before we come to these prerequisites, I would like to emphasize that even though the technical stuff is important, the most important part we are looking for is someone who has the correct attitude. The attitude that nothing is impossible, the things you don’t know anything about; you are happy to learn and to teach others. Having these skill sets will help you in gaining the technical requirements to reach our goals as a team!
TECHNICAL PREREQUISITES
Perhaps you see yourself as a Fullstack or a Backend developer with an interest in frontend but we think that you need to have approx. 4-5 years of experience in software development, preferably using Java. It would also be useful if you have 1+ years of professional experience in software development using GoLang, or at least the interest and willingness to learn the language
Other requirements - Good hold of software development and understanding that good code needs to be tested.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD and other software development processes.
- Good knowledge of Docker/Kubernete
- Good knowledge about cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).

This role will be reporting to the Engineering Manager in the Test Enablement area The role will be placed in Malmö or Helsingborg, can be discussed
