We are looking for a driven Software Engineer for our
Rail Control Solutions site in Hässleholm, Sweden
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As Software Engineer, you will be part of a team developing train control software. The focus will be on Radio Block Center (RBC), with a strong future in the years to come. The RBC is a part of the INTERFLO 450 system, which is a safety classified (SIL4) signaling solution for main lines and follows the ERTMS (“European Rail Traffic Management System”) standard. Bombardier is a market leader in providing ERTMS technology and we were the first supplier to commission an ERTMS Level 2 system for commercial operation. During the coming 10 years ERTMS will be rolled out and connecting Europe. The RBC team is a highly experienced team with a good atmosphere, where collaboration is key.

Qualifications
YoUr Qualifications

A relevant engineering degree, preferably Master’s (Electronics, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering)

Experienced programmer in an embedded environment

Knowledge of Linux and/or Git/Gerrit is highly appreciated

Cybersecurity experience

Analytical and structured mindset, with an eye for details

Advanced English language skills are a prerequisite; Swedish fluency is an advantage
