Software Engineer - Uppsala

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Software Engineer who is experienced in UL and EU-standards related to electrical design (UL508A and EN 60204-1).

What you'll do:
● Develop new features and functionalities iteratively, working from a minimum of requirements.
● Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the data system.
● Work with defining the requirements towards backend to achieve the goals for the front end as well as incorporating both design and functionality.
● Contributing to the Continuous Development of standards against which Software Development should take place as well as exploring and bringing in new technologies to boost innovation and Development Productivity.
● Develop elegant solutions for complex problems and actively contribute to post-release maintenance issues.
Who you are:
● Have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent area of education and must have relevant working experience.
● Experience and knowledge in electrical engineering, establishing requirements specifications, power calculations, selection of components and drawing of circuit diagrams and layouts.
● Good knowledge of requirement management, product life cycle management, systems engineering processes and methodologies.
● Experience working with Figma or at least the ability to work with designers and discussing implementations in the design phase.
● Have some experience implementing designs as components in React driven applications.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
