We are on a Digital transformation journey at the iconic IKEA. To support the digital transformation, operations and monitoring data is core in ensuring transparency and availability of our solutions used by our customers. We need a passionate and innovative engineer who loves working in an agile environment, enabling our application performance and synthetic monitoring for integration in our CI/CD tool chain both on-prem, private and public cloud. REQUIREMENTS –
We believe you have experience in programming for automation and integration as well as configuration in different toolsets. You have a background in systems administration and understand the importance of application monitoring in an operational context for applications E2E observability. Operational experience with Signal FX, Application Performance Monitoring, Catchpoint or similar.
Passionate engineer with 5 years of experience in software engineering with proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Phyton)
Have experience both from system administration and development
Enjoy working in a very diverse distributed and open environment
Have growth and innovation mindset
Have formal education as a Software Engineer or proven equivalent experience
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in agile teams and across the capability area, contributing to the development and maintenance of integrations for E2E visualization of instrumented applications and critical flows.
Being accountable for delivering quality software, reliably and safely to production, and understanding the customer impact and experience of your contribution
Continues improving ways of working both individual and within the team. Making sure we do the right things.

We’re a small team working closely with our operations team. We are quite autonomous, self-organizing and self-sufficient in many ways, which means part of our daily work is to define how we get things done together. We are based in Älmhult and Dortmund but a mix of local and remote work is not a problem.
We are passionate about building easy to consume capabilities supporting the need to high quality data insight in the operational process at IKEA. Giving business and operations team support and insight into availability and performance of critical business applications and infrastructure enables successful delivery of service to our customers. Our close collaborations with development teams supporting a DevOps mindset enables us to continuously explore new technologies and opportunities.
