Software Engineer with a growth mindset

We at NIRA believe in making roads safer by developing sophisticated software solutions for passenger cars. The TGI platform is a family of products with a common aim of improving the safety and the comfort of our roads. The main input is data from millions of cars carrying NIRAs proprietary sensor fusion algorithm and the output is a complete view of the state of the road surface. Since the applications are often used in a mission critical environment, the level of quality has to be very high. We are now looking for a passionate software engineer to join us!

Your team

You will join a team of highly motivated, dedicated, easy-going and skilled members. The team is focusing on developing and maintaining our platform that is the foundation for all TGI products. This involves everything from daily maintenance work to long-term strategies for evolving the platform for future needs. Your team in Linköping consists of about five team members with different competences, including a Product Owner and a Scrum Master and you are all supported by the rest of the organization.

This is what you will do

You will be one of the software engineers within the team. Together with the rest of the team, you will be responsible for developing NIRA software and integration in electronic units in vehicles, as well as verification of data transmission from vehicle to backend. You are also expected to contribute to the whole team’s wellbeing and performance by sharing your great attitude and experiences.

As you get comfortable within your role and the organization, there are several opportunities for personal development such as growing into a role as Scrum Master or grabbing technical ownership of tools and processes.

Your experience shall include:

• Programming in C and Python

It’s an advantage if you also have experience or knowledge within:

• Vehicle electronic standards (such as Autosar, CAN, FlexRay etc.)
• Jenkins, Git, Matlab
• Software integration in vehicle ECU’s
• Agile working methods
• Signal processing

Other required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or solid work experience
• At least one year working experience as a software engineer
• Fluency in English
• Driving license
• At least basic knowledge in Swedish and willingness to learn more
