Software Engineer with an interest in functional programming

We are looking for developers with potential that wants to learn (or improve their skills) in Erlang. The project is facing a migration to a Cloud environment. You can be an experienced engineer or a junior developer with ambitions to become one. You will join one of our cross-functional teams within Telecom working according to Lean and Agile methods.

The team is responsible for end-to-end product development including design, implementation, test and documentation.

Key Qualifications

- 1-3 years of backend programming experience
- Knowledge of Erlang / OTP programming knowledge and/or interest in learning it
- BS or MS in Software Engineeing, Computer Science, IT or relevant subjects
- Fluent English skills for oral and written communication


In Addition, The Following Areas Give Additional Merit

- Linux knowledge
- Cloud competence
- Knowledge of the network layer protocols (IP, TCP/UDP)
- Basic understanding of Telecomunication terms and standards( IPV4, IPV6,SIP, H248, RTP)
- Familiarity with Continues Integration and tools (Jenkins, Gerrit)
- Swedish language skills
