About the job As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in reaching our vision of ensuring that Swedbank has an updated and functioning AML (Anti Money Laundering) monitoring solution that meets regulatory requirements and support Group Security Investigation to be efficient in their work to detect suspicious Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing cases.
As Software engineer you will contribute in all areas; analyze, design, develop, test and maintain services delivered by the team and support in finding a good balance between life cycle management, maintenance, regulatory compliance as well as the development of new features. You strive for a high level of automation of the tasks that are of the repeatable nature for the whole continuous delivery pipeline. We work accordingly to Swedbank Agile Process and frequently deliver potentially shippable products iteratively and incrementally, maximizing opportunities for feedback.
We work with a 3rd party AML solution and are loading large amounts of data from Swedbank group data warehouses to be processed. Good knowledge in SQL is needed and experience in ETL-development. We like you to become a specialist when it comes to developing, testing and implementing new AML monitoring detection scenarios using the rules library available in the AML solution.
What you need to succeed You are a highly motivated developer with an interest in keeping yourself updated with the latest technology and trends within the area of development and programming. You have an interest to learn and dig into the transactional and counterparty data on a detailed level to understand how to make use of it for developing new detection scenarios. You are also a strong team-player.
The following skills are required:
Proven knowledge of one or many programming language(s)
Good knowledge in SQL
Good knowledge of Data warehouse and ETL
Experience in UNIX and Oracle is an advantage.
