We need a Software Engineer with knowledge in Tech and the Marketplace business, and a strong drive to improve and protect our partner and customer experience.
About the role
In the External & New Sales Channels Product Area you will be part of the Direct Sales Product team. We are responsible for providing our marketplace partners with a seamless onboarding experience and our customers with access to H&M fashion . We are on a journey together which means there is no clear path. Therefore, you will play an important role in setting the foundation and creating our future organization. We believe you are dynamic, collaborative, and curious!
You will be responsible for the operational side of our product which is closely connected to the continuous development and continuous improvements. You work closely with other products within Business Tech as well as our partners to ensure and improve daily operations and delivery supporting the customer offering in our partner channels.
To succeed we believe you like fact-based decision making, believe in testing and learning, you use direct and hands on management. Your own initiative and results will have a great impact. In this role, you can make a difference both short and long term!
We are looking for
A person with strong leadership and communication skills that will be focusing on ensuring our platform works well together with our partner’s platform now and – with your addition to the team – in the future.
Your key responsibilities:
Responsible to secure that the product operations meet our partners and customers expectations and if not, ensure that corrective actions are taken (you will be part of a transformation to a DevOps setup, but until then we appreciate experience from incident- and problem management)
Plan and follow up delivery according to business and tech requirements and agreements
Ensure vendors are delivering value in line with our objectives and key results
Align with and support H&M-group business side as well as our partners in defining operational requirements and corrective actions that can be delivered upon
Manage deviations from agreed targets – our own internal and our joint with our partners
Being able to fix things hands-on when possible and required

To be successful in the role we believe you have:
Experience from DevOps and IT Operations – preferably in a context with external partners
Experience from agile development.
You likely have experience from roles such as; IT operations,Team manager (Tech/IT), Development / Configuration, System Responsible
Experience from technical roles within e-commerce, marketplace, ERP or similar
Experience from outsourced tech delivery (we are aiming at moving away from that, but current situation is partly outsourced)

Self-directed with an ability to navigate within the organization to ensure best outcome
