Elekta Instrument AB is recruiting three Software Engineers to our Oncology Informatics Systems function. This position is located at Elekta’s head office in central Stockholm, Sweden.

Elekta’s growing software development engineering team has opportunities in development and testing of new and existing products. Our product teams thrive in a scaled, agile environment. What you’ll do at Elekta
Implement software applications including design, unit testing and validation.
Contribute to design decisions and discussions with project teams. Translate user requirements to software requirements.
Ensure software quality standards are met through documentation, risk analysis and testing support.
Interface with customers and vendors as necessary during the product development cycle.
Participate in activities for improving engineering practices, tools, infrastructure and other quality system processes and deliverables.
Contribute to business requirement intake process and translate requirements into products, services and solutions without guidance.
Take initiatives to identify areas for quality improvements.
Actively seek to develop a working knowledge of a range of domain/ engineering areas, processes, new technologies and tools leading to business strategies and project requirements.
The right stuff
To be a suitable candidate for this position we think you have at least a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related field of study. You also have prior work experience from medical software development. You have a proven ability to work successfully in an Agile/Scrum team environment and have excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
You are a strong developer with at least 2 years of application development using technologies like .NET, (C#), C++, WPF, SOAP/REST, WCF and you are proficient in all phases of the software development cycle.
You also have at least 2 years of work experience in:
Using your excellent problem-solving skills and giving attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
Creating unit test framework
Working effectively in a team-oriented environment; you have a proven ability to work successfully in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
SQL Server, SQL language development
Desired Skills & Experience
Master’s degree and/or PHD
Experience with Open GL, Direct X ITK, VTK or similar.
Experience in Cloud& Micro Service is a plus.
Experience with Hospital information Systems and/or adaptive radiotherapy is a plus.
Experience using Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience in Angular or other web front end framework is a plus.
Experience in OOP architecture design is a plus
