Job Description
As a Software Engineer you will be a part of a cross-functional team that is fully responsible to develop, build & operate tech products in order to fulfill the H&M Group business needs. The Customer Attraction product area is responsible for all digital capabilities across the H&M group that attract new and existing customers into our stores, both digital and physical. This includes the technology supporting all our paid and organic marketing activities, such as paid and organic marketing channel technology as well as core enablers such as attribution, media mix modelling, content optimization, and 3rd party data sources.
As Software engineer for the Social Media team the scope spans across the four areas of Social Commerce, Organic Social, Social Advertising and Customer Dialogue on social media. You will innovate and develop our tech foundation that enables all of our brands to improve the customer interactions on Social Media.
You will get to work with things like optimizing the use of tracking pixels/scripts, finding future tracking solutions, API:s and how to improve the data flow from H&M systems to social media platforms, in a compliant and future proof way.
The Social Media Team is currently a small and newly found team (launched in December 2020) but we have a high level of agile maturity and constantly share feedback and learnings to keep ourselves evolving.
Responsibilities
You will work as part of small, but expanding, product team with a Product Owner and three Engineers, with the responsibility for creating and designing solutions that fulfill our business needs and meet our customers' expectations. You will be translating our business needs into a technical solution. Furthermore, you will:
Translate product strategy and requirement into suitable, maintainable and scalable solution design.
Translate customer needs into features, user stories and acceptance criteria, as well as working together with the team to solve defects and collaborate in refining and updating the backlog.
Collaborate closely with product owner and other product teams in Business Tech, share best practice as well as discuss and motivate design solutions.
Ensure the architectural and strategic technical roadmap for the area/product and be in the forefront of new capabilities adding to the product.



Qualifications
We believe that you:
Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Broad understanding of how to optimize and make use of customer interactions on different social media.
Passion for working with different social media platforms, such as Facebook Business Manager, Twitter, Pinterest, VK and Snapchat.
Experience working with JIRA and/or ServiceNow.
Have a demonstrated history of working according to agile practices and workflow, especially accordingly to SCRUM.
Be fluent in both written and spoken English.



It is merit if you:
Have a great overview of the 3rd party tools and vendors when it comes to collecting and sharing SoMe-data
Have experience from being a SCRUM master
