Our Unit, Safe Vehicle Automation, consist of ambitious and highly skilled engineers and is responsible all the way from research and advanced engineering to implementation, Verification and validation of current and future customer offers in our cars. Within our ART Autonomous Drive & Advanced Driver Assistance System Platform, we develop the foundation for our functions. We lead the development of our components for example Lidar, Radar, Cameras and ultrasonic sensors and integrate the system and into a complete platform that we can build our functions on. At Radar & Ultrasonic sensors we are three agile teams working close together with suppliers and other teams to specify, integrate and verify our sensor solutions. We are now looking for a developer to our Ultrasonic team.
What you will do
We are now looking for a team player, to take part in our agile development team that is leading the development of Ultrasonic sensors for the next generation premium Volvo Cars. Your main focus will be to Integrate the Software from our supplier in our Vehicle platform. You will drive the discussions between the relevant stakeholders (Suppliers for component & ECU) and in-house teams. We see that you have experience from relevant software design within the automotive sector: Software development and Integration processes including Continuous Integration tools and methods (Jenkins, CI/CD, Gerrit).
Experience in Generation of ARXMLs for BSW & RTE configurations and integration from AUTOSAR tool chain. Knowledge on classic and adaptive AUTOSAR. Experience in vehicle testing, function testing and performing vehicle calibration is meritorious.
Who you are?
We see that you are a well-structured team player and can drive the team forward together within the company. You have a Bachelor or Master of Science within electronics, software, computer science or similar competence, fluent in English both written and spoken. Driver`s license “B”, valid in EU and knowledge in agile Software development is meritorious.
