About us
We are dedicated to electrify our brand in a broad effort with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and Plug-In hybrids (PHEVs). At the engineering department of Propulsion Controls and Calibration, we are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solution of Traction Battery systems for electrified vehicles.

What´s in it for you
Traction batteries are the enabler in the effort to electrify our vehicles. We develop the complete battery system in-house, meaning that you will be working with a broad range of tasks within many different engineering fields with all the skilled engineers within the Traction Battery C&C ART!
You will be a part of the Release Team; whose main target is to develop and maintain software for traction batteries. Our software is used both in plug-in hybrid vehicles and in the coming BEV (Battery Electrical Vehicle). The software is developed together with a supplier and in-house within the ART.

As a Software (SW) Integrator for ART Traction Battery Controls, you will be responsible for handle software integration of software components. You will be a member of the Release Team that have the responsibility for deliveries of SW for the battery control system, for test vehicles and car projects. The work is performed in close cooperation with system designers, Configuration Manager, SW architects and SW developers.

What will you do?
As SW Integrator, your main responsibilities will be to work with the integration of software components and handle discussion regarding build environment with supplier when it is applicable. You will work in close cooperation with other engineers to clarify questions regarding specifications, work processes, system design and quality assurance activities. You will handle requirement analysis, issue management and related investigations. You will work with BSW configuration development using AUTOSAR (communication, system management, memory management module), and finally you will assist with SW implementation and technical documentation for integration support.

Do you fit the profile?
We believe that you have at least a B. Sc. degree within physics, electrical engineering, applied mathematics or similar. You have relevant work experience – preferably from embedded SW development - including good knowledge about software engineering and AUTOSAR BSW. You are of course fluent in English (written and spoken).

If you also have experience from software design for automotive, programming skills (C, C++, Python), agile development processes, and/or additional language skills, we consider it highly meritorious.

As a person you need to have the ability to coordinate with several teams and be actively self-driven. You need to have the ability to independently plan, manage and monitor your work towards set goals. You need to be committed to developing world class products with high precision. Lastly, you need to have the ability to build trust and show courage.
