Software Methodology Specialist

We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Methodology Specialist.

In this Specialist role, you will be a Subject Matter Expert regarding analyzing, designing, implementing, and improving software development processes, methodologies, and frameworks.

You will work closely with software development teams to provide guidance on best practices, establish standards, and monitor progress.



Your role

Responsibilities within the Specialist role:

Analyze and evaluate existing software development processes, methodologies, and frameworks to identify areas for improvement
*

Propose design and implementation of software development processes, methodologies, and frameworks based on industry best practices in collaboration with our Software Factory development team and PM&T
*

Evaluate and propose changes in software architecture that support efficient development processes and methodologies
*

Work closely with software development teams to ensure adherence to established standards, and provide guidance on the use of software development tools and methodologies
*

Evaluate and propose ways to monitor and report on software development progress, including identifying and mitigating risks and issues
*

Develop and deliver training programs to enhance software development skills and knowledge within the organization
*

Stay current with emerging software development trends and technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization



Your profile

As a Specialist you need to have:

*

Strong understanding of software development methodologies, frameworks, and best practices, including Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps
*

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
*

Experience with software development tools and technologies, such as JIRA, Git, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
*

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and to build strong relationships with software development teams and other stakeholders
