As a Software (PLC) Developer you will Optimize manufacturing processes to minimize our environmental footprint.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in manufacturing
- Knowledge of Shop Floor Control technologies (PLC, communication, IoT, SCADA)
- Experience in advanced PLC programming
- Knowledge of basic networking
- Knowledge of data types and pointers
- Fluent in speaking and writing in English
- General knowledge of application architectural analysis, and design
- Experience from Automotive Industry
Your role at Aurobay
The department Manufacturing Processes and Support Systems (MP&SS) within the ME organization is responsible for secure a good digital manufacturing solution for a complete plant. We are now looking for a Software (PLC) Developer to strengthen our team.
As Software (PLC) Developer you are responsible to:
- Responsibility over time for develop, support implementation and support usage of Global Shop Floor Control products as Communication with host systems
- Manual Station control
- Other capabilities (example “Equipment Performance Data Collection”)
- Work with studies, strategies, and roadmaps within Intelligent factory
- Perform local implementation and adaption of global PLC solutions
- Documentation of developed solutions
- Training of first line support
- Second line support for project and production issues
- Coordinate Global way of working within Aurobay regarding communication to manual and automatic stations.
