Objective
This mast thesis evaluate the way Volvo Group Connected Solutions AB is organized and how the product development process is structured and implemented.
Background
Volvo Group Connected Solutions AB (VGCS) was founded in 2018 and has grown rapidly since then. At VGCS we ensure the connectivity for products from all Volvo group brands and develop services to maximize the value of the connected assets. Our software development must be in sync with the product development and releases of our stakeholders.
Over time our processes have gone from project oriented to product centric, agile using SAFe and adapting DevOps principles. The way of working is continuously evolved to increase quality and performance. Your evaluation of practices versus theory from the academic is yet another step to ensure quality and performance.
