About us
The purpose, for Car Service Business, is to enable a hassle-free consumer experience and drive loyalty by delivering a personal, sustainable and safe service experience through high quality and cost-efficient premium service operations. The automotive industry is currently under-going a significant transformation driven by changing consumer behaviors, technology shifts and digitalization. Within the department Service Operations & Technology, we are applying our data driven strategy to prepare for direct consumer solutions and to move from reactive to proactive customer interactions.
What you will do
As a Software Product Engineer, you will be part of the Software Configuration and Release (SCAR) Team, within the Connected Workshop ART.
You will have a key role in the software release process for aftermarket.
One of your main tasks will be securing the content and availability of software in VIDA (aftermarket tool used in the workshop) throughout projects and R&D´s software release cadence. Other important tasks are supporting, monitoring and mitigating customer impact when issues are being reported from the field.
You and your skills
You have degree in Computer Engineering (or equivalent work life experience). You have senior SW configuration knowledge and installation knowledge of embedded systems. Excellent language skills in English, both in writing and speaking is imorporant and experience from Vehicle Electrical Architecture, Agile/SAFe and aftermarket are meritorious.
On a personal level
As a person you are well structured with an analytic approach to your tasks.
You adapt easily to different situations and specific needs, are a team-player with a positive attitude and have excellent communication skills.
Strong customer focus, courage, and an ability to balance stakeholders are also important competences in this role.
