The Role
As Software Program Manager you will play a crucial role in aligning different stakeholder priorities and making sure that software development proceeds as planned. Software will be your primary focus, but it is necessary to see the bigger picture and comprehend the interface to hardware/mechanics in the development of the future DeLaval products.

Some of your Key Responsibilities for the position will be: Planning and monitoring of the software program according to agile principles
Communication of release contents to stakeholders, mainly product owners and project managers
Make sure the software development is aligned with system and product delivery projects with software dependencies.
Support to the project managers
Drive and continuously improve the process and way of working within the software program including the cooperation with Product owners.
Visualize and facilitate the incremental release planning in Jira
Facilitate increment planning together with scrum team and product owners in “big room planning”

You will be a member of the Software Program Team which supports the agile software development teams within Product Development. Your primary contacts will be Product Owners, Line managers, Test managers, Project Managers and Test Leads. You will work with 16 different development and test teams, in total 70 members. The teams are mainly based in Sweden and Poland, but you will also interact with colleagues in USA and China with a great possibility to make a positive impact on both people and products.

Is this you?
To be successful in this position we believe you have a technical university degree and several years of working experience leading Software Development. In addition, you have good knowledge and understanding of the development processes in a large RD organization. We also think you have solid experience from agile methodologies and experience using of Jira and/or similar Project Management tools.

Fluent in English, both in speech and writing is mandatory.

In this recruitment, your personal attributes will be of great importance. We are looking for a person who has strong leadership skills as well as very good strategic capability. It is very important you are a good communicator with ability to communicate with both business and strategic stakeholders as well as with technical development teams. You are also a team player who work well in a multinational set up.
