Software QA Engineer with Test Automation

We are looking for an Experienced Software Quality Assurance engineer/Test engineer who is ready to take on a new challenge, to be part of our Embedded Software team.
As an Experienced Software QA Engineer you will be part of an agile team of QA engineers and embedded SW engineers. Your role as a QA is responsible for ensuring the quality of your team’s products and features before release to end users. You develop automated test cases in the existing Pytest framework, and you also help identify improvements to the framework to ensure it is maintained and invested in properly. You have the ability to understand and map product requirements, system requirements and industry standards to be able to produce a complete test plan. You may have experience as a Mentor for more beginner Software QA Engineers.
Wish list, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Engaged team player
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent education
Some years of experience in quality assurance and test automation of telecom products and networking.
You recognize industry buzzwords such as WDM, coherent multiplexing, ITU-T, IEEE, SDN, TCP/IP, Ethernet and/or OTN.
Experience from Python test automation and manual testing in a lab environment
Experience in developing test plans
Experience working in an Agile development environment

Bonus Skills:
Scrum master or team leader skills
Experience with use of test equipment from e.g. IXIA, Spirent, Viavi, Anritsu etc.
ISTQB certification
