Working as a Software release responsible you will collaborate with our SW teams, ART management team, Suppliers, other ART’s, release and integration arenas. To create and communicate creative SW release plans.

Who we are
The ART (Agile Release Train) Deceleration & Steering, part of the Solution Vehicle Platform. Is now looking for a committed and collaborative colleague. The ART Deceleration & Steering is responsible for the delivery of the complete Brake and Steering systems, including components like caliper, pedals, brake modulation (nodes), steering- gear/column, part of in-house SW development, supplier SW & total SW release, etc. 

The ART is divided into 3 competence areas:
•    Steering Software & Controls
•    Brake Software & Mechatronics 
•    Brake and Steering Hardware

What you’ll do
You will be a part of the ART Management Team and work closely with the two competence areas “Steering Software & Controls” and “Brake Software & Mechatronics”.
We work in close cooperation with our suppliers, internal customers, several different car projects and affiliates. We create/support advanced engineering tasks, deliver to new car projects and to current running production.
The complexity of today’s vehicle systems combined with increased frequency of SW releases. Put focus on creative SW-integration & release planning. Transparent communication to involved teams, suppliers and stakeholders. Improvement work to increase SW release speed and quality.

It’s a role that both collaborates with ART Management team to cascade integration & release timings to the teams. Also, to communicate our release timings and content, especially the critical ones, that needs to be handled with urgency. And on the other hand, is a servant leader to our empowered teams. Giving the teams responsibility, mandate, support and coaching when needed.

We are looking for:
•    You have very good knowledge and experience within SW integration & release process.
•    We believe you have at least a BSc degree within Mechatronics, Electronics or similar.
•    We also believe you have experience in vehicle development and are used to work with agile methods and in agile teams.
•    If you have Project Management experience and/or have practiced as Scrum Master we would consider it meritorious.
•    As a person, you have a strong ability to communicate and to convey results in a structured and understandable way. You are organized and possess the ability to motivate both yourself and those around you.
