Where will you belong?
Interior Systems is a part of the Interior Trim & Systems department consisting of approximately 120 engineers organized into groups developing components and functions within the following areas: Interior Systems, Interior Light, Floor systems, Compartment Trim, Overhead system, Police & Customized cars, Accessories, and Interior Rear Trim. Interior Systems’ main focus is the Detection of persons within the car, Overhead console, and Reading lamps.
We are looking for a new colleague as Software Responsible in Interior Systems.
What will you do?
You will work in an agile team together with System Designers, Software Developers, Testers, and another Software Responsible, who is working to deliver Overhead Console and Reading lamps.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Handling SW requirements, making sure to understand them on a technical level,
• Leading ongoing and upcoming projects with suppliers,
• Handling acceptance testing,
• Leading Release Management - Syncing all VCC factories,
• Handling fault reports - fault tracing,
• Quality Assurance,
• Defining SW Strategy and Test Strategy together with the team.
Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for you who have an M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics, or equivalent. You have previous experience in leading projects and developing software.
It is meritious if you have experience with SystemWeaver, Elektra, Software Architecture Design, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), and/or SOTIF (ISO 21448).
Competence and experience are important, but personality is key!
On a personal level, we are looking for a creative and curious person. You trust in people and the power of collaboration; hence teamwork is your highest priority while solving tasks and striving towards a common goal. You should be able to build good relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers. You need to have the capacity to drive several issues simultaneously and work in a structured way. You are together with your team accountable for all your deliveries. This role requires you to have great communication skills and fluency in English.
