Job Description
As a Software System Architect in the area of embedded Firmware Over the Air (FOTA), you will work in a scaled agile environment serving multiple software development teams. You will take part in defining the architecture on system level and work closely with the software development teams providing guidance and technical steering. The software we develop is intended for automotive applications deployed on both microprocessor and microcontroller-based systems.


You will be part of a team of system architects according to the SAFe setup covering areas such as backend, connectivity, and embedded software. Your responsibility will be on the embedded side, but good knowledge in technical challenges cross domain is expected.


The development teams you will be interacting with are part of larger organizations delivering value adding software solutions for OEMs within automotive. Agile working methods are a foundation in our way of working and to deliver larger solutions together with other teams, we use the Scaled Agile Framework.


Qualifications
You shall have practical experience in creating software architecture for embedded devices and communicating this to the development teams as well as other stakeholders in a SAFe setup. Communication skills are essential and we expect you to be self-sufficient and structured. Knowledge of automotive standards is a merit qualifying for this role.


Finding new ways to get to state of the art solutions by scouting new technology is in your DNA. You thrive in a changing environment and have constructive strategies to handle uncertainties and volatility. Good communication skills are essential.


Good skills in English is mandatory while Swedish and German would be seen as bonus.
