At the department Autonomous Systems, we are developing self-driving transport solutions for the future.

We are now looking for a software system engineer for the group Autonomous Logging, a part of the section Autonomous Continuous Integration Platform. Our section enables engineering productivity for the whole department.
The logging system consists of an onboard part with hardware and software to log data on the vehicle and an offboard part where the data is uploaded to AWS.

You will together with the team:

• Develop high-quality software for Logging of data from the autonomous test vehicles
• Deploy software using modern tooling and frameworks.
• Be an active part of the development of the autonomous vehicle by taking part in tests and seeing the prototype at work.
• Troubleshooting hardware & software logging systems in the test vehicles.
• Design powerful data pipelines that process fast sensor streams, leverage appropriate data stores, and offer easy-to-use APIs.
• Be responsible for the onboard part of the logging system in the vehicle.
We use a modern agile working methodology based on SAFe. The team works in sprints, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives, in close collaboration with the appointed Product Owner.

Qualifications:
We think you are a fullstack software developer with experience from frontend or backend development. You have developed software in Python or C++ using GitLab and maybe also Docker. You have probably experience from CI/CD.
We believe you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant area like Computer Science, Electronics or Mechatronics. Maybe you have also knowledge about network programming, Embedded Systems and experience from automotive industry.
You are fluent in written and spoken English.
