We are now looking for a Software Test Engineer


Description

As a Software Test Engineer, you will work in an agile team with development and test engineers that together develop software and test.

You will be working both with manual and automated tests in MIL, SIL and/or HIL test environments as well as in vehicles. The team is working closely together with other teams in different areas within NEVS

We are looking for a creative and innovative engineer with experience of verification and validation of software systems for AD/ADAS, Vehicle Motion and other vehicle systems. You will join an agile organization, where team work, empowered self-organizing teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus, you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

The role involves:

- Define, investigate and build up the test environments (test rigs, MIL/SIL, Open & Closed Loop HIL).
- Developing test methods and test cases, including identify and generating AD scenarios
- Developing strategies for test of different software systems and test automation
- Executing test cases, analyze results and write test reports & issue reports
- Developing work processes and structures for test development of test cases and perform testing in test rigs and MIL/SIL/HIL environments


We are looking for someone who has:

- More than 5 years of experience of testing automotive embedded software
- Experience of software testing in different type of test environments as for example MIL, SIL, OL/CL HIL, sub-system and system test environments
- Experience of using Python or other programming languages for test automation
- Experience of testing AD/ADAS functionality using Scenario based testing
- Experience of Machine learning, Autosar, Ethernet, Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
- Experience of Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, Canoe, Autoware, CARLA, IPG CarMaker, Tracetronic ECU Test or NI VeriStand
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Computer Science, Systems Control and Mechatronics or similar
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license for vehicle
