How will you make an impact?
System Verification group is responsible for verification and validation of our analytical system for Allergy and Autoimmunity testing. This involves verification and validation of software, system and assay performance during updates of the current or development of new systems to ensure that our system fulfills internal requirement specifications and regulatory demands for all markets. The group is a team of around 20 people.
You will work with verification activities for our different software projects during the development of new analytical systems as well as updates of the current Phadia Systems. This involves hands on software testing but can also include planning and leading software verification activities.
Come and work in a supportive team with good collaboration. We also work closely with in particular the software developers but also other functions within the department System R&D. You will have the possibility to help our customers how they work and diagnose allergy tests and autoimmune diseases around the world.
What will you do?
In the role as Software Test Engineer you will work with verification and validation for our different software projects during the development of new analytical systems as well as updates of software for the current Phadia Systems. This will involve planning and leading software verification, writing test methods and hands on testing to assure that we fulfill the requirement specifications for the product.
In detail you will be working with
Designing test cases and ands-on execution of software verification
Take part in reviewing product requirement and specifications
Planning and leading verification activities
You will also work in collaboration with other functions, in particular the software development team, within the department during the entire product life cycle to assure our products have relevant and testable requirements
How will you get there?
University degree within computer science, technology or related fields
Experience from software verification and validation preferably within life science industry or equivalent regulated environment.
Experience from designing test cases and hands on testing of complex software systems
Experience from test automatization is an extra merit
Analytical and problem-solving skills. To be successful you need to have an interest in understanding how the software and interacting instruments work
Responsible, thorough and structured way of working and always having quality in mind
Able to take initiatives and work independently as well as be a good team player
Good communication skills
Fluent in English
