Volvo CE in Braås, located close to Växjö, develop autonomous and articulated haulers. We do everything from product planning, development, sales and marketing to purchasing, manufacturing and assembly of the complete machine.

The Team
The testing team consists of 12 skilled engineers who are working in cross functional projects in an agile setup.
The team is responsible for testing of our products. From software, sub system to complete machine for Volvo CE´s autonomous and articulated haulers.
The Role
As test engineer you have a vital role in the process of product development and a direct input to product quality. In the role you test software releases, both internally developed software and software from external partners. This includes driving cross functional coordination meetings, time planning, verification planning as well as administration and test development.

Knowledge & experience
To be successful in your new role, we believe that you have a university/B.Sc degree in relevant area or equivalent experience. You are familiar with software testing and have a structured way of working and documenting. To be able to coordinate and take responsibility for our test results we believe you have good communication skills, a customer focus and a genuine interest in technical systems. We also believe that you are eager to learn and work with your own and the teams development.
Experience/knowledge in some of the following areas will be beneficial and are meritorious:
Test planning, Test development, Embedded software systems, Software testing in Automotive and Agile methods.
